This course does not certify you to perform injectables. If you are looking to become certified, please consider Hybrid Aesthetics 101 or the Virtual Aesthetics 101.

ABOUT THE COURSE

This is a robust aesthetics training program that is intended for medical practitioners with minimal to no previous experience performing aesthetic procedures who are looking to acquire the proper knowledge, skills of injecting Botox and dermal fillers.
 
Facial Mannequin Hands-on Training:
A self-paced online hands-on training on the Facial Mannequin, conducted by an experienced physician instructor, who will coach you on how to assess, mark and inject Botox and dermal fillers on the Facial Mannequin that you receive.
 
Prerequisite (Included)
A self-paced online didactic course covering facial anatomy, the aging process of the face, demo on how to conduct an aesthetic facial consult, create treatment plans and inject Botox and Dermal Fillers by applying a unique concept called the “4R’s of Facial Rejuvenation”.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of the course, students will:
  • Have a clear understanding of the facial aging process
  • Understand the different clinical uses of botulinum toxins and dermal fillers
  • Understand how to inject both botulinum toxins and dermal fillers to obtain desired results
  • How to use the facial mannequin during a patient consultation to help develop the patient treatment plan
  • Identify the anatomy and physiology of the face, with special attention to blood vessels and nerves so they can be avoided during treatment
  • Recognize the important structures of the face with regards to botulinum toxin and its appropriate use
  • Identify key facial muscles and formulate a treatment plan to inject botulinum toxin based on the units of botulinum toxin to use in mixing and administration
  • Inject botulinum toxin safely and reduce the risk of complications
  • Recognize the important structures of the face with regards to dermal fillers and their appropriate uses
  • Identify key facial muscles and fat layers to build a treatment plan based on how much filler substance to use per area
  • Apply different filler injection techniques for optimal patient outcomes while avoiding/reducing the risk of complications
