ABOUT THE COURSE
This aesthetics training course begins with a brief introduction describing both the art and science of facial aesthetics, and how they are inextricably linked.
Students are introduced to the concept of “facial beautiΦication,” with an emphasis on the Greek symbol Φ, or Phi, described in this program as the Golden Ratio of Beauty. Students are also introduced to the ideal facial dimensions and how they relate to the overall appearance of the face.
In addition, students receive an in-depth look at facial anatomy, described as Facenatomy.
The course ends with a discussion of the aging process and how to apply the 4Rs of Aesthetics to restore beauty and youth in the face.
STUDENTS MUST BE A CURRENTLY LICENSED:
(DDS, DMD, BDS)
Upon completion of this aesthetics course, students will:
- Have a basic understanding of facial anatomy
- Be introduced to the 4Rs of aesthetics
- Understand the concept of Facial BeautiΦication
- Understand the relationship between the art and science of aesthetics
- Learn how the aging process affects the face, and how aesthetic medicine can restore beauty and youth to the face
