Self-Paced Online Didactic Training Session

Upon registration, attendees will be granted access to the online learning management system and enrolled in IV Therapy 101 online program by Dr. Sam Assassa, President of The American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery. This online program is a comprehensive online training course designed to provide attendees with a robust foundation for understanding IV therapy administration. Dr. Assassa provides his knowledge and professional expertise with over 3-hours of training video content to cover these essential IV therapy topics. This comprehensive online aesthetics course serves as a prerequisite didactic session for the Vitamindrip® IV Therapy Certification Hands-On Training Course and is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of IV therapy administration on both a fundamental and an advanced level. The IV therapy online program includes a required assignment at the conclusion that will measure the attendee’s level of understanding and test his or her knowledge. The online program not only helps prepare attendees for the IV therapy hands-on session but it maximizes on the whole approach to IV therapy.

IV Therapy 101 Online Program covers:
  • Chapter 1 – Introduction to IV Therapy: why parenteral or intravenous micro-nutrient therapies
  • Chapter 2 – Scientific Evidence: essential nutrients: vitamins, minerals, and amino acids
  • Chapter 3: Practical Fundamentals: sterilization, mixing protocols and vial preparation
  • Chapter 4: Clinical Protocols: safety and efficacy, administration room, storage of materials, and preparation for IVT procedure
  • Chapter 5: Infection Control Procedure: injection site, bio-hazardous, and waste disposal
  • Chapter 6: Patient Consultation: medical history, indications and contraindications, informed consent form and consultation process
  • Chapter 7: Video Demonstration: patient consultation, pre and post IV therapy administration and best practices

This in-person hands-on training session is designed to provide an in-depth look at all of the factors and variables necessary to set up and successfully operate a Vitamindrip® branded location. Additionally, this session provides details about successfully branding, marketing, and selling Vitamindrip® products and services through best practices and role-playing. Lastly, this session includes customizable clinical templates, sales scripts, patient information and consent forms to offer a turn-key solution for launching a Vitamindrip® branded location.

Hands-On Training Session

This in-person hands-on training session is designed to build confidence in administering IV therapy, practice proper delivery, develop technique under supervision, and test your skills on real patients. Upon completion of this session, attendees obtain confidence, and the proper skills to administer IV therapy on the very next day. To qualify for hands-on with real patients, you must show valid proof of medical licensure prior to the course and ACLS certification.

  • Apply therapeutics safely and effectively to treat their patient
