Is AAAMS membership right for you? The short answer is yes, but we don’t stop there. Let’s take an in-depth look at all the unique ways in which AAAMS can and will support you.
Becoming a member
Becoming a member of AAAMS is as simple as completing an online application and submitting your application fee through our encrypted payment website. Whether you opt to pay monthly or annually, all three membership tiers include 12-month access to the AAAMS Aesthetics Network and varying additional benefits. AAAMS administrators will evaluate your current medical license before approving your application. Afterwards, you’ll be provided a username and password to access the revolutionary Aesthetics Network and learning management system.
Learn and connect
Upon first logging into the learning management system, you’ll be ready to dive into the CE Accredited Facial Aesthetics 101 (FA 101) Series, which is applicable upon purchase. The AAAMS Aesthetics Network combines networking, collaborating, and education in one. This comprehensive aesthetics training program is designed to introduce members to the exciting field of facial aesthetics. Upon completing the programs, your knowledge will be tested and understanding assessed. Once you’ve navigated this final challenge, you’ll be granted a certificate of completion, along with access to the wealth of benefits that come with membership.
As a newly minted AAAMS member, you’ll then be able to learn and stay current on all of the newest aesthetic medicine and surgery training opportunities. You can enroll in aesthetic courses, connect with fellow members, get to know AAAMS educators, and cultivate new relationships. You can create and join groups, post in the discussion forums, express your thoughts and ideas, and stay updated on all of the latest aesthetic medicine and surgery topics and techniques.
By customizing your membership profile, you can showcase your knowledge, expertise, accomplishments, interests, personal social links, and more. Upload your profile photo, your LinkedIn profile, and an introduction about yourself that reflects your unique qualifications. You can also share the courses, groups, and topics you are involved in.
The business side
But the benefits of AAAMS membership don’t stop at first-class continuing education opportunities, promotion, and networking. Once you’ve completed your training and are ready to get to work, AAAMS will be there to help you every step of the way.
As a Fellow Member, discounts are offered on all training courses, and free access is provided for the Introduction to Aesthetics program. Basic and Associate Members are given discounts on most of the available training courses. The Facial Aesthetic Courses offer a variety of learning opportunities for early-learner to advanced-practitioners. Those new to the industry can benefit from taking Introduction to Aesthetics or the Facial Aesthetics 101 Series, while seasoned professionals can benefit from taking Vector Facelift 301+ 1 or Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty 201. And your learning doesn’t have to stop there! Body Aesthetic Courses are also an option and include Basic and Advanced Liposuction Training.
CE Approved Courses
Among the many learning opportunities offered in our course selection, our accredited continued education courses are among the most sought after. AAAMS offers 4 CE approved courses that include an optional 17 CE credits: Hybrid Aesthetics 101, Virtual Aesthetics 101, Facial Mannequin Training Program, and Facial Aesthetic 101 Series.
The CE Accredited Hybrid Aesthetic 101 course is a two-day comprehensive aesthetics training program. An experienced physician will instruct students in a virtual, interactive didactic session followed by a live, hands-on training session at the AAAMS headquarters in Beverly Hills. The CE Accredited Virtual Aesthetic 101 course covers the same content and provides live, hands-on practice completely online from the comfort of your own home! The goal is to equip those new to the field with the knowledge, skills and certification in the safe and skillful use of injectables.
The CE Accredited Facial Aesthetics 101 Series is an online, self-paced training course geared towards practitioners looking for a better understanding of facial aesthetics and the range of available aesthetic medicine treatment options. Attendees will learn facial anatomy and physiognomy, as well as comprehensive training in Botox and dermal fillers.
The CE Accredited Facial Mannequin Training Program is a comprehensive botox training course. The overview and demonstration focuses exclusively on the use of botox and other neurotoxins. The main topics will cover facial muscle anatomy and its relationship to facial expressions, clinical assessment, and the art of botulinum toxin injections.
